WORSHIP THE LORD'S SUPPER

My conscience is captive to the Word of God "
"Unless I am convinced by Scripture and by pure reason and since we do not accept the authority of the pope and the councils, because they contradict each other, my conscience is captive to the Word of God. I can not and I will not retract nothing becauseit is not safe nor right to go against conscience. God help me. Amen "(Martin Luther).Diet of Worms in 1521If, on the one hand, there are fads and heresies pseudopentecostais the Brazilian church, I observe that, on the other hand, there is antipentecostalismo, whose proponents verberaram mercilessly against the Pentecostal Christians, to the point where tacharem - with "ch" even! - Ignorant, illiterate and heretics.

Everyone knows I'm Pentecostal. I belong to the Church of God since I was 15 years. I think today's multifaceted manifestation of the Holy Spirit, as 1 Corinthians 12:4-6, the passage that mentions the diversity of gifts, ministries and operations of the Comforter. And so in this fourth article, I show the other side of the coin: the antipentecostalismo.
In previous articles, I showed that pseudopentecostalismo is an aberration. But embrace antipentecostalismo is another big mistake. Respect your brothers cessationists. I have friends who belong to churches that do not accept the Pentecostal service, coexist peacefully and even participate in evangelistic events, literary, etc..What is unacceptable is to see a part of cessationists - small indeed - verberarem against Centennial Assembly of God and other Pentecostal churches, as related to the pseudocristianismo.
The antipentecostais, without making any distinction, say Pentecostals do not obey the Scriptures. They claim that the promise of covering power of the Spirit was only for the days of the apostles. But they are not ignoring the clear passages of the Word of God, as Joel 2.28,29, Luke 24:49, Acts 2:39, 1 Corinthians 12-14, 1 Thessalonians 5, etc..?
We must not give up the weirdness of the true Gospel, expressed through gifts, ministries and operations that are manifested in the Church (and not just in worship), which are described very clearly in the New Testament. Why antipentecostais insist that tongues and prophecy ceased? Is it a sin to speak in tongues? Sin is to mock, mockery of the Word of God has come as a manifestation of the Spirit, despise it or abuse it (1 Cor 14, 1 Thessalonians 5:19-21).
Citing Paul, antipentecostais assert that "there are prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues will cease" (1 Cor 13.8). However, this apostle said that he stressed that nothing would have value without the love of God poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Rom. 5:5). Tongues, prophecy, science and faith become meaningless without love (vv.1, 2). If we do not have the love of God, "whether there be knowledge, it will disappear" (v.8), that is, it will have no value. But none of the opponents of the Pentecostal Movement claims that science has disappeared ...
And as for faith? If there is love, it certainly "disappear", since the fruit of the Spirit in us generated shapes our character, making efficient virtues manifest the love, the first element of this fruit (Galatians 5:22, 1 Cor 12:31; 13.1). All other "buds" are different expressions of this precious virtue: Joy is rejoicing in the love, kindness, love in action, faith, love, believing, and so on (Eph. 5:9; 2 Peter 1:5-9, Colossians 3:12 -16).
As for the baptism of the Spirit - which is different from being baptized into the Body of Christ by the Spirit (cf. 1 Cor 12:13) - this is an endowment of power for the Christian (Luke 24:49, Acts 1:8). And the promise of this power relation "as many as the Lord our God shall call" (Acts 2:39). A coating is applied to those who are clothed, is not it?
I know that for antipentecostais, it is hard to give the interpretation - mistakenly - that the tongues mentioned in 1 Corinthians 14:18 was learned in this world languages such as Hebrew or Greek. But in 1 Corinthians 14.2, it is written: "For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaks not to men but to God, because no one understands, in the spirit he speaketh mysteries." If the tongues are languages learned, because no one understands?
If the languages mentioned by Paul is of this world, he said it is necessary to pray to interpret them? Note: "pray that he may interpret" (1 Cor 14:13). Moreover, the term "plus" (gr. mallon) indicates that Paul spoke in tongues more frequently (not more languages) that the believers in Corinth.
We know there are corrupt the Word (2 Corinthians 2:17), but give up the power from on high because of the false prophets is depriving itself of the weapons of our warfare, not of this world (Luke 10:19, 2 Cor 10.4). Let us remember that in the New Testament there are three noes we can not ignore, "do not forbid speaking in tongues" (1 Cor 14:39) "Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies "(1 Thessalonians 5.19,20).
Definitely not a good way to make light of the signs and wonders and wonders that the Lord Jesus presented as the effect of preaching the Gospel (Mark 16:15-20, Acts 4.30,31; 8.13).
